Evidence Matters is a virtual one-day summit that brings the literature review community together from different industries to learn, engage, and solve ever-pressing evidence-based research challenges. We celebrate the criticality of evidence-based research in generating trusted and actionable science that benefits all of humankind. We seek to connect with industry leaders, share best practices, and create new possibilities and experiences for professionals and our employees, to enable and support greater levels of innovation across the entire literature review lifecycle.

Founder & CEO, JMIR Publications

Gunther Eysenbach is a German-Canadian medical researcher. He is a visionary who recognized the importance of the internet for medical and scientific information dissemination in the 90’s. A pioneer of the Open-Access movement and creator of the first open-access journals, Gunther is the president of JMIR Publications and holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of Victoria.

Dr. David Nash is a certified internist who is internationally recognized for his work in public accountability for outcomes, physician leadership development, and quality-of-care improvement. He is the Founding Dean Emeritus of the Jefferson College of Population Health and a principal faculty member for quality care of programming for the American Association of Physician Leaders.
